Developing a Pre-Launch Plan for an In-Licensed Product
Situation
The client had in-licensed a product that was a unique drug class. They had less than 6 months to complete a launch plan that included managed care planning. The RI team was contracted to be the in house managed care marketing team responsible for strategic planning and execution of all research and tactical executions.
Plan of Action
Reimbursement Intelligence researched and developed the “value” proposition for the product in the eyes of Pharmacy & Therapeutics decision makers. RI also wrote, designed and produced all training and promotional materials for the Managed Care Account Managers.
Results
Because our strategy and reimbursement plan was highly targeted and impactful, we secured formulary access in over 75% of plans within 6 months post launch.
